Dairy UK wanted to provide their stakeholders with a toolkit of social media messaging so they could communicate their initiatives and intentions to the broader public. So topright designed a social media messaging toolkit that was simple for stakeholders to use. And communicate with their own interest groups and followers. The toolkit consisted of 21 infographic images and statements accompanied by suggested accompanying text. The simple infographics were all monochrome and encapsulated the message clearly.
Communicating clearly and ethically is a founding principle if you messages are going to prove successful. The messages have to be clear, honest and if there is a mutual benefit then you are more likely to attract followers. By participating with the community in an open and transparent way, the path is laid for a continuing relationship. In this case, that is the relationship between dairy producers and consumers, some of whom may be rethinking their use of dairy based on current trends. The messages were not a big sell on the Dairy industry or making claims they are saving the planet. They simply raise awareness that the industry is playing its part by making significant changes and improvements. The ready-made information provided very easy to use content for all those in the industry to make posting simple and accurate.
